Street Children Music Camp
Description: Rumpin (Rumah Pintar) Bangjo is one of PKBI projects which built as a concerns in children’s life around Johar Traditional Market since 2010. These children have lack of educational background with many problems, since they spend most of their time around the unhealthy area (physically and psychically). Rumpin project has been run with non formal education programs ; art, character building, self hygiene, etc.
Type of Work: New type of IIWC Workcamp , the volunteers will be ask to arrange a music event with some street children. So the volunteers will be involved in planning the music event, promote the event to local people,prepare the performer ( most of them are the street children) , decorating the stage,etc
Study Theme: teach the kids about art, music, draw, arranging job desk,teamwork,etc
Accommodation: Host family, sleeping bag or and mattress needed, self cooking, and self managing
Language: English should be spoken among participants, but please kindly learn some Indonesian words to interact with local people
Requirements: The participation fee payable upon arrival will IDR 2750000 covering foods, local transport, accommodation, administration cost, material for the camps, T-shirt, contribution to IIWC management, and IIWC certificate of participation. Volunteers are requested to bear their own health and travel insurance. . Please keep it in your mind that all personal expenses and free day expenses are excluded

Notes: prepare a lot of idea how to arrange a music event, how to decorate stage, be open minded, and need to have lots love and cares to children , be ready as well that some children might be hyperactive.
