Gender realities and inclusion
Description: Gender realities and inclusion is a very dynamic work camp which involve activities with different categories with fewer opportunities in Tirana, Albania
Type of Work: The volunteers will organize workshops, games and other non formal activities with children and young people from Roma community, in street situation, and students of the school in the Rural area of Tirana. Volunteers will have to prepare a 2 days workshop on Gender Equality, Gender roles and gender opportunities, suitable for children and young people with fewer opportunities.Then the volunteers will deliver themselves workshops to children and youth( 2 days with Roma and 2 days in the High school in rural area of Tirana). In addition to workshops, there is planed a football play between children and youth from different target groups:Roma,Egyptian, LGBTI,Rural areas and non marginalized groups, both girls and boys, as a braking taboo activity to promote diversity and gender activity
Study Theme: In the workcamp is planned as well study visit in Roma community and rural areas of Albania with the aim to have a better idea of the local context and see the gender realities among communities with fewer opportunities’.
Accommodation: The volunteers will be accommodated in the PVN studio in the center of Tirana
Requirements: Volunteers need to prepare before arrival games, energizers, working groups, role plays, info about the topic in their countries. You are welcome to bring any material to play with children.
