Approximate Location: Prague-Karlin is an attractive part of Prague situated on the bank of the river Vltava which flows through the whole city. Karlin is a developing (and, unfortunately, also a gentrified) metropolitan area, where there are many cultural organizations, cafes and bars. Near Alta there are also many places suitable for nice walks. Located close to the main train station, Studio Alta offers a train trip. Leisure time: In Stromovka Park, close to the accomodation, you can walk on a slackline, do different sports, go jogging, take a sunbath or play board games. In the Karlin district you can also go to a theatre, cinema or visit a concert in Kasarna Karlin (former barracks close to the Invalidovna). It is also possible to go for a trip (by a train) outside Prague (have a barbecue or bath in a lake). Right next to ALTA (accommodation), there are two climbing walls (rope and boulder).
