Outdoor Sports and Organic Gardening
Description: PrEstE Outdoor is a volunteer-driven organization of people who are passionate about building communities, improving peoples health and enjoying nature through outdoor sports such as mountain biking, trail running and climbing. Most of their activities currently take place in Faksinge Forest near the lovely little town of PrEstE one hour south of Copenhagen.Faksinge forest already has an excellent mountain bike trail, which is open to the public all year round, and PrEstE Outdoor wish to establish a running trail with several obstacles and natural parkour areas along with it. They would also like to build a trail centre ( a simple structure where people can meet, find shelter, share information, wash their equipment and have a barbecue or cup of coffee. For hosting you on this camp PrEstE Outdoor are collaborating with Bosei Folkhighschool, which is placed inside Faksinge Forest and is the home of approx. 70 students, mainly aged 20-30, who are interested in sports, Japanese culture and personal development. This means that they are more than used to hosting and offering a wide range of fun activities for young people. Bosei is currently working towards more sustainability and is among other things wanting to start producing their own organic vegetables. You can visit Boseis webpage here: https://www.bosei.dk/en/Or see a video of the place here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_uQa0KApvYY
