100 Years of Workcamps Crew
Description: Die Tragerkonferenz der Internationalen Jugendgemeinschafts- und Jugendsozialdienste (kurz: Tragerkonferenz ) (The Sponsoring Conference of the International Youth Community and Youth Social Services, short: The Sponsoring Conference ) is the association of non-profit work camp organizations in Germany. The Sponsoring Conference brings together around 60 individual organizations that have come together in six central offices.The Central Offices are responsible to the Federal Ministry for Family, Seniors, Women and Youth (BMFSFJ) for the proper application and billing of funding for the work camps. The six central offices in the sponsoring conference meet at work meetings at least twice a year and carry out further training for their volunteer and full-time employees.One of these conferences will be hold in November 2020 in Berlin and you will be part of a support crew as volunteers to manage logistic tasks for organizing this big event in the social sector.
Type of Work: The volunteers help is needed for logistic support before, during and after the events. Please be open for any kind of work, because all the details cannot be foreseen. We need help with the info papers, welcoming participants and give them orientation in the accomodation and with the programme , deal with the technical equipment, take care abput the departure and more. One possible task can be to make the photo documentation and also producing a little docu-video (like in 2016: www.youtu.be/dFHOni6FD0o).

Requirements: If some volunteers have their own camera and some knowledge about photography or video, it is helpful, but not necessary.
Approximate Location: Free time activities will be decided in accordance with the groups wishes. Of course you will be able to enjoy the sights and culture (theatres, clubs...) of Berlin and go for an excursions (e.g. Potsdam). If you have it you can bring an International Student card (ISIC) to get reductions on local transport, museums, etc.
