Description: La Rovira Nova is a farmhouse where a family has lived since 2015 with a few years of restoration of the house. In 2016, the Arc Hall project was inaugurated, a multipurpose space open to generate beautiful activities. Two years later, a dining room with a capacity for 25 people is built.

The purpose of the Rovira Nova space is to generate personal and collective transformation processes through regular activities such as peace dances, yoga, meditations, theater and various body awareness therapies (TCI, Río Abierto, Taichi, biodance, etc.). They do not currently have a website. They communicate via email.

Type of Work: The main task of the workcamp is to constuct a labyrinth of meditation in the location.Other activities that can be done are talks, debates, outings and visits of interest to the topic.

Accommodation: The accommodation place will be the same as the working space, the farmhouse "La Rovira Nova".

Notes: Additional Fee of €50.00

This fee will cover - local hosting costs; insurance costs of the volunteer; a small travel fund to enable disadvantaged volunteers to join projects; administration costs of SCI International.

If you reside in a country where there is an SCI branch and you apply through the SCI branch the fee will be included in the fee you pay to your sending branch. Organization Description: SCI Catalunya is the Catalan branch of SCI, one of the 2 SCI branches in Spain. We are based in Barcelona and our working area covers the Catalan countries (including Catalonia, Valencia, the Balearic Islands and Andorra). The other provinces of Spain are covered by SCI Madrid. SCI was founded in 1982 and he organization works on both a global and local level. On the global level, we organize international workcamps in the above mentioned territory Long Term Voluntary Projects (including EVS), trainings and seminars. . On the local level, we work to promote peaceful social transformation of society in order to encourage sustainable human development and a culture of peace, through volunteer groups, involving our community and local networks.
