Description: Development for Cambodian Children (DCC) is a community based organization which has been working to provide local children and teenagers English competency, computer skill, and engage them in community development since 2002. DCC believes that through voluntary service, we will be able to create a better future for our local children and teenagers while helping local people to protect and preserve their protect forest in the area of their management. Above activities will also provide you a lots of exciting experience and life learning for yourself as well.
Type of Work: Volunteers are going to participate in different activities such as teaching English and computer for DCC students, organize sport activities with teenagers, and participate in social development and environmental protection with local people. Beside, volunteers will also have opportunity to learn from local community through community challenge & mapping and learn from other volunteers through sharing sessions and free time activities organize by camp leader during the camp.
Study Theme: Education and Development
Accommodation: Volunteer will stay together at a hosting family inside the village. Food will be prepared by hosting family but they will be asked to serve, clean, and wash dishes by yourself. three meals per day will be provided with the basic Cambodian dishes.
Language: English and Khmer will be the languages at the center.
Requirements: Volunteers should be able to teach basic English, and join activities organized by the project manager.
