Type of Work: Professional photographers will teach you techniques of nature photography. You will visit different places where you can practice your photography skills. The camp will take place in two locations: Berlin and Plau am SeePhotography classes: Berlin: 5 days (each 5 hours)Plau am See: 3 days (each 6 hours)
Accommodation: Accomodation Berlin:You will live in one of the heated bungalows of the VJF project and meeting center. There are six bungalows in total, each equipped with a bathroom with shower and toilet. Bed linen is provided so you do not have to bring it with you. The main buildings can also be used for cooking, sharing meals and leisure activities during the stay.Accommodation Plau am See:You will live on a camping site close to a very nice lake. You will sleep in tents (2 persons per tent) on camping beds with mattresses. Please bring a sleeping bag and bed linen. If it willrain you can sleep in a building. A kitchen, sanitary facilities and a big meeting room are provided on the camping site. A washing machine can be used. Food:Meals are prepared in alternating cooking groups. Feel free to bring simple recipes from your home country to cook with the other participants during your stay. A grill is also available for your use at the accomodation in Berlin.

Requirements: Only limited Wi-Fi available at both camp locations. Please bring a flashlight with you for when it gets dark in the forest.
Approximate Location: Area Berlin:You are accommodated in the Projekt- und BegegnungsstEtte of the Vereinigung Junger Freiwilliger e.V.. The small bungalow village is located directly on the shore of the Langer See in Berlin. It is a quiet place with good public transport connections to the center of the capital. Area Plau am See:The project is situated in the Nossentiner Schwinzer Heide Nature Reserve, situated between the two towns Goldberg and Guestrow in the Federal district of Mecklenburg, in thenorth east of Germany. This area is covered with forests and you can find a lot of beautiful lakes there. The nearest big village is Krakow am See. The place is isolated; but the surrounding nature is beautiful. So please be prepared to spend some weeks in the nature without shopping opportunities.Leisure Time:At Kriminitzer Weg in Berlin, you can do sports and games (e.g. table tennis, volleyball), hiking tours and Berlin explorations. At Plau am See, there are a lot of opportunities to discover the countryside by foot, bike or boat. Youll have the chance to visit bigger towns and to make trips to the Baltic Sea. The area around Plau am See is covered with beautiful lakes where you can swim. If you like, you could do guided tours through the forest or learn something about regional endangered animals.The free time activities willmainly depend on your ideas.
