Description: Vive Mexico has been consistently hosting this impactful workcamp in Rincon de Guayabitos, Nayarit since 2014, dedicated to promoting peace through sea turtle conservation. Volunteers play a crucial role, working alongside biologists to protect these majestic creatures. Type of Work: The activity schedule is adaptable to weather conditions, may even involve working with crocodiles in January and February. Your tasks include:
- Locating adult turtles and safeguarding their eggs.
- Transferring eggs to a secure location known as Vivero.
- Releasing newborn turtles into the vast sea.
- Night patrols along the serene beaches.
- Contributing to the enhancement of crucial turtle camps in the region.
Linked with the protection of the sea turtles is our deep compromise to leave in peace with nature and ourselves and recognize the value of all life forms in a proactive a constructive project.

Accommodation: Volunteers will be hosted in a hotel in a shared room with all facilities at their disposal namely, private bathroom, hot water, swimming pool, WIFI, and air conditioning.
Language: English (Spanish is appreciated but not mandatory!)
Requirements: This camp is open for everyone who are sensible and open minded. It is crucial for the participants to respect, open to learn and appreciate the conditions of rural lifestyle of indigenous communities, as well as their culture and wisdom.
