Workcamp Details

Description: Promotion and development of social inclusion activities and voluntary work; ● Promotion of community awareness actions on environmental issues, on combating climate change and on social inclusion (with emphasis on the partnership made in the presence of young Luso descendants from Cape Verde and Brazil who will have an excellent opportunity for inclusion here); ● Creation and distribution of ecological material and gadgets; ● Increased awareness of the impact of single-use plastic on the forest and marine environment; ● Creation of an international and district youth network to ensure the impact and sustainability of the proposed challenge.

Type of Work: Environmental awareness actions, including open discussions and structured dialogue between young people and policy makers in the various municipalities present; ● Public Campaigns; ● Actions to combat the use and contamination through plastic, through cleaning of forest areas, beaches and forests around them; ● Creation of leaflets and videos on the theme for dissemination of the environmental message; ● Organization of inclusive Cultural and Sporting Events; ● Actions to encourage the reduction of emissions and toxic waste, with the realization of group tours in the communities of Braga district and in some communities of the network created online; ● Organization of creative and recreational activities in public transport; ● Creation and distribution of environmentally friendly ashtrays

Study Theme: - Young people will have a greater awareness of the impact of plastic use on the environment -They will participate in actions to combat the use and contamination by plastic, through the cleaning of forest areas, beaches and surrounding woods they;

• They will learn to create and distribute environmentally friendly ashtrays;
• They will participate in awareness-raising actions where they themselves can convey their ideas

Accommodation: Accommodation: Braga Camping - Individual Camping Tent and shared bathrooms Food: 5 meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner and coffe breaks)

Requirements: Camping blanket, comfortable clothing, shoes, boots, work clothes, pyjama, beach towels, bathing suit, shower slippers, bath towel, sporting equipment, informative material about their country (maps, flags or leaflets etc..) and traditional food and drinks
