Description: The Center for Sustainable Development (CSD) started in 2014 as CYA - Learning Center (CLC). After 10 years of its operation, we found that there‘s more possibilities for development that we can do with our international and national volunteers which is why we changed the name to Center for Sustainable Development. CSD is committed to fostering community growth and sustainability through a range of programs and initiatives. The CSD's mission is to empower individuals with the skills and knowledge needed to create a better and more sustainable future. The CSD offers a diverse set of programs to address education, sustainable development, and social entrepreneurship.
Type of Work: At CSD, volunteers will taking part in different activities such as:
- Work with local people in soap making & T-shirt printing workshop
- Join the Ride to Explore tour to see the beauty of the villages around our center including mountains, sunset, and sunrise.
- Teach English and computer to students at our center and public school and
- work in the vegetable garden of CSD which include permaculture farm, and tradiation vegetable garden.
Study Theme: Related to Education, Teaching, Environment and Gardening...
Accommodation: Volunteer will stay together at a hosting family inside the village. Food will be prepared by hosting family but they will be asked to serve, clean, and wash dishes by yourself. three meals per day will be provided with the basic Cambodian dishes.
Language: English is the basic language used in the camp.
Requirements: Being able to communicate in English and motivated to work and live in local community.
