Cambodian Youth Action (CYA) is a not for profit and we haven't received any funding support from any funding agencies therefore, all participants are required to pay their participation fee.

Description: CAME recognizes the importance of traditional music, arts, and culture in preserving the identity and heritage of our community. It also acknowledges the critical role of education in improving the lives of individuals. Therefore, this center seeks to bridge the gap by offering a unique blend of cultural preservation and educational opportunities, free of charge, to empower our community.

Type of Work: Volunteers of CAME will work on:

  1. Organizing different events at the center to promote the work of students and volunteers
  2. Teaching English and computers at our center and public school
  3. Renovating CAME classrooms and facilities and joining the construction work to complete the new building
  4. Gardening and tree planting to create a beautiful environment of our center

Study Theme: Related to Arts, Education, Music...

Accommodation: Volunteer will stay together at volunteer's house inside the village. Food will be prepared by local chef but you will be asked to serve, clean, and wash dishes by yourself.

Language: English is the basic language used in the camp.

Requirements: Being able to communicate in English and motivated to work and live in local community.

Organization Description: CYA is a youth development organization who works to promote global education among Cambodian children and youth, improving living standard of the community, and actively preserves environmental resources through engaging with international volunteers who come from all over the world. CYA organizes workcamps, which allow global volunteers are to live, work, learn, share as family who is compassionate in discussing and solving global issues.
