Description: SCI Hong Kong is collaborating with five secondary schools on a Global Education project aimed at enhancing global understanding, creativity, and life enrichment among young people. As part of this initiative, we are organizing a capacity-building training seminar and are seeking volunteers to assist with the training. The seminar will empower youth by developing their skills in creativity, social cohesion, and leadership, while also providing them with a vision for the future. Volunteers will play a crucial role in facilitating these sessions, supporting participants in their personal and collective growth. This initiative not only fosters individual development but also strengthens community ties and prepares young people to engage actively in a globalized world.
Type of Work: The program highlight is a three-day, two-night residential training program for 40 students, utilizing non-formal education methods. Activities in the workshops will include innovative approaches like a human library, fostering interactive learning and personal storytelling. Volunteers will play a vital role in running the program, assisting with various tasks such as food preparation and facilitating workshops. Your support will be essential in creating a welcoming and engaging environment, ensuring that participants have a positive and enriching experience throughout the training. This initiative aims to empower students while promoting teamwork and community collaboration.
