Gestures of first aids (Agou)
Description: A majority of Togolese are unaware of the simple gestures to help the victims of a road accident or other incidents. Everyday many accidents occur in the cities and villages of Togo. Realising that the situation is increasingly alarming, NGO ASTOVOT sets up the project "Gestures of first aids" which consists of raising awareness and training especially the moto-drivers “Zémidjan” and other road-users on life-saving skills (traumas, bleedings, and cardiac arrests). This isn't just about training the beneficiaries but also about preventing, limiting or excluding an imminent danger and to teach them how to alert emergency services.
